Remodel / Repurpose – 28,497 SF conversion of existing retail building

This BGW remodel project involved the conversion of an existing retail space within the Moon Valley Shopping Plaza in Phoenix. In addition to a 363 seat sanctuary with a 1,000+ SF stage, the new facility features a large “third space” gathering area that provides access to an indoor playground, cafe and children’s check in station. The remodeled building also offers separate worship spaces for pre-school, elementary and youth.

Chris has been consulting and coaching Christian nonprofits for over 15 years and has more than 30 years of church leadership and ministry experience. He specializes in helping Christian Schools and universities strategize vision, discover opportunities out of obstacles, develop compelling communication for objectives, and layout a plan to accomplish their God-inspired dreams. Chris is very adept at helping organizations rethink their current reality to make new things possible. In addition to his Certified Fund-Raising Executive (CFRE) certification, Chris has a BS in Business from Murray State University, a BA in Music from Western Kentucky University, and both an MA and MDiv from Luther Rice University.
