Mount of Olives’ is the first and oldest church in Mission Viejo, CA, a city rich with the culture and influence of the Spanish Mission Era and modern day industry. As Mount of Olives’ Church has grown over the years, it has maintained a strong emphasis on children’s ministry. Today, Pastor John Steward, had the vision to turn their existing “Kid City” children’s program into an actual building is so dynamic, it has become a magnet for children who want to return again and again, bringing their parents with them for Sunday worship.
The new BGW 3-story building features a fully equipped kitchen, classrooms, performing arts area and state-of-the-art AVL/stage. Each floor has a different theme with large worship space and interactive 3-D elements, complete with a Toontown, created by Wacky World Studios, for the youngest children, and off-Broadway and Pier 316/beach themes for older children. There is also an 8,000 SF courtyard with an oversized fire pit for family fellowship and events.
