The Depot / Faith Community Fellowship
Springville, AL
Phase 1: 10,000 SF (future phase – 60,000 SF) on 20 arces
The Depot represents a major missional arm of Faith Community Fellowship and will be their primary tool in reaching the community outside of Sunday Services. The church does not own the building, but will be a tenant. The church realized that, in order to make a significant impact and provide the most opportunity, they needed to partner with a property management group. Surgance, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit group, manages the facility. The church’s goal in Springville is to provide an innovative, relevant, and welcoming environment to reach the unchurched.
Phase I of this project, a 10,000 SF facility, was completed in September of 2023. In addition to Faith Community Fellowship, the new facility is also home to Heritage Christian Academy, Kind Kups Coffee, Perform Fit Studios, Euvista Health & Wellness Center, Chef Margaret Catering, and rental space for various community events and activities. The center features an auditorium that the church will share with the community.
Mike Ennis, pastor at Faith Community Fellowship Springville Campus, says that since Alabama ranks low nationally in economics and health, “We felt like rather than building a church, we’d rather build a community center. Something the entire community could use. Something that would hopefully improve both the economics and health of our community and provide athletic opportunities.”
