Don has one of the most extensive backgrounds in faith-based architecture in the U.S. He has designed prominent facilities all across the country throughout his 42-year career and has been recognized with a number of awards for innovative and creative church design. Don specializes in helping school leadership to cast their vision during the very earliest stages of the project through creative master planning and preliminary design concepts. Don earned his Master’s Degree in Architecture from the University of Utah in 1982 and formerly served as President of the American Institute of Architects for the State of Utah.

Josh is a key member of the BGW Architects leadership team and has two decades of project management and design development experience. As a licensed architect and Senior Project Manager, Josh leads the construction documents and administration team, overseeing 6 staff architects as well as project managers, drafters, designers and engineers. Josh has completed more than 100 construction document packages for BGW church and Christian school clients, managing the entire design integration process, from foundation consultants to acousticians. He is well versed in building code, planning and entitlement, structural integration, intensive remodel and building reuse, accessible design and developing creative solutions to complex design problems.

He is passionate about raising up the next generation of Christian disciples and leaders.
