This unique BGW project is focused on transforming the Presbyterian church’s campus to create spaces for the church and the city to meet on common ground. It will include prominent and welcoming entrances and indoor / outdoor meeting areas that promote relational connection. The new facilities will feature improved education and discipleship spaces for children, students and adults, including a gym and preschool for both church and community use. The existing worship space will be renovated and a more intimate prayer chapel will be constructed to accommodate smaller services.
The church has also embarked on a partnership with the city of Boulder to serve those in the community that are facing employment or housing challenges. A new 4-story building of nearly 40,000 SF will provide affordable housing, job training and rooftop event rental opportunities.
