Buck Run Baptist Church
Frankfort, KY
New Construction – 52,000 SF
In order to continue making disciples and serving central Kentucky, Buck Run Baptist Church relocated from its historic site at the forks of the Elkhorn Creek to a 100-acre property affectionately called Rehoboth, which means “plenty of room.” The relocation is the result of decades of faithful giving and several generations of leadership. Buck Run is excited about the future and what this new location will mean for ministry.
The new facility was designed to be a premiere worship facility and community event center in the area. This 52,000+ SF building will be a beautiful addition to it’s surroundings and feature a full brick exterior with canopy drive-through entrance, spacious 9,000 SF lobby/gathering space with vaulted ceilings, floor-toceiling windows, a flood of natural light, exposed wood ceiling beams, hanging lights, café, lounge seating, indoor playground and navigational kiosks.
The 900-seat sanctuary features an extensive raised performance platform with built-in baptistery, full AVL package with control box/sound booth, backstage storage area, rehearsal room and cry room. The youth center has a separate auditorium for worship and performance space, large classrooms, children’s gathering area, preschool and nurseries.
