Alive Wesleyan Church
Central, SC
30,000 SF Worship Center
This first phase of development for Alive Wesleyan Church involved the construction of a new worship facility that features two separate sanctuaries with BGW. The main sanctuary was designed for a contemporary worship style with state-of-the-art technology, including environmental video projection, enhanced audio, and stage lighting. The other smaller sanctuary caters to some of the older generations in the church and features a more traditional design with cathedral ceiling, classical podium and choir seating. The exterior of the new building features a stately brick and stucco combination that fits nicely with the southern contemporary architectural style throughout the South Carolina Upstate region. The large, prominent windows on the front of the building create a warm and inviting feeling within the foyer and commons area, bringing lots of natural light into the space and highlighting the vaulted ceilings. The front façade of the building also features a unique water fountain feature that serves as the outdoor baptism for the church.
