With seating for 3,300 people, this new 140,000-square-foot facility houses a sanctuary nearly three times larger than the church’s former worship space. Additional features include a foyer the size of a football field, prayer rooms, 25 classrooms, a bookstore, a café, a children’s playground and an outdoor gathering space for events and theatrical performances. The design also includes enhanced communications technologies that allow Northland to connect to current multi-site campuses throughout Central Florida, as well as satellite locations across the globe.
This project was the winner of 3 Solomon Awards from Worship Facilities Magazine for Best Church Design, Best Special Project & Digital Church and was also featured in Ministry Today Magazine as one of the 7 Most Innovative Churches in America.
