Highland Park Community Church’s growth has been fueled by its focus on youth and its outreach to those enslaved by addiction. With the new site that overlooks a duck pond to one side and western prairie to the other, exterior elements for the new worship center play off regional western Wyoming influences and provide a wonderful backdrop for their preschool and youth program.
A large glass exterior wall follows a curved fellowship hall opposite the sanctuary, where the weekly Celebrate Recovery meetings are held, offering seating to as many as 560 in an open and welcoming environment. An additional smaller worship space is planned for the ground level, as well as numerous classrooms and a full-size commercial kitchen. The upper level contains a youth hall for more than 400, an adjacent coffee shop and a large array of classrooms and offices. The floor plan is focused on the large, dynamic worship center with seating for 1,300 and an expansive platform equipped for productions
“Building God’s Way has been a tremendous resource for us in many aspects of the project, from the initial concept, through the capital campaign, building design and the actual construction. Their team of talented individuals have worked together to provide us with a lot of great service.” – Marc Sundstrom | former Admin Pastor, Highland Park Community Church.
