Mark Senseman

Mark Senseman lives in Brownsburg Indiana with his wife Patt and children Blake and Paige. He serves as the Ministry Development Officer for Michigan, Indiana, Kentucky, and Tennessee. He is a 1988 graduate of Anderson University in Anderson Indiana. He likes to play golf in the summer and is somewhat of a foodie – he loves trying to create new recipes he finds in his favorite restaurants. In his role, he connect with church leaders to help their church grow. CDF Capital delivers financial, leadership, and spiritual capital to ensure the church is resourced well. Having a career in both business and ministry allows him to best see how to help a church.

 

Joe Graham

Joe Graham joined CDF Capital in October 2019. He lives in Colorado with his wife, Amy, of 20 years and their three children. He comes to CDF Capital with over 18 years of church and nonprofit lending and banking experience.

Raised as a pastor’s kid, Joe is passionate about helping churches reach their mission and vision and seeing lives changed by Christ. Jim Marr lives in Beaverton, Oregon with his wife and 2 sons. He is a graduate of George Fox University and has over 20 years of professional experience in corporate financial planning, accounting, and litigation consulting. Jim enjoys spending time in the beauty of God’s creation with his family and friends on backpacking, hiking, camping, and road trips. His life has been transformed by God through actively serving in his local church as a volunteer in a variety of ministries. Jim’s role at CDF Capital allows him to leverage his financial acumen while partnering with growing churches in Oregon, Idaho, Washington, and Northern California.

Jose Maldonado

Senior Vice President of Lending

Jose joined CFR in September of 2005. He is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the loan department, including underwriting, closing, and servicing. In his tenure at CFR, Jose has facilitated hundreds of loans and has also helped raise millions of dollars to fund those projects. Jose holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Central Florida. Prior to joining the CFR ministry, Jose worked as a business analyst for a global human resources firm in Orlando. Jose’s greatest joy is his family, which includes his wife, Vilmarie, and their three beautiful children: Alex, Aidan, and Avalee. Jose and his family attend Safe Harbor Christian Church.

 

Kent Fillinger

Regional Vice President (OH, MI)

Kent joined the CFR team in November 2018 after eight years working in development and fundraising at CMF International. Before that, Kent served on the ministry staffs of churches ranging in size from 250 to 3,700 in Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana. Kent writes monthly for Christian Standard magazine and also writes for Leadership Network. He is a proud Buckeye native and has a BA in Bible & Christian Ministry and a MA in Theological Studies from Cincinnati Christian University. Kent and his three awesome daughters, Leah, Norah, and Kara, live in Brownsburg, Indiana where they attend Connection Pointe Christian Church.

 

Jonathan Lewis

Regional Vice President (Texas)

Jonathan Lewis joined the CFR ministry in January of 2022. In his role as Regional Vice President for Texas, he develops relationships with churches and ministries in the Lone Star state. Prior to his work with CFR, Jonathan worked as a private banker and wealth management specialist, my most recently inn commercial banking. He has also served with churches in the areas of discipleship and small groups. Jonathan holds a bachelor’s degree from Abilene Christian University and a master’s degree from Denver Seminary. He and his wife, Erin, have been married since 2003. They have four children.

Darren Key

Chief Executive Officer

Darren has served with Christian Financial Resources since June of 1997. Born and raised in Kansas, he received his dual degree in Christian Service and Finance from Manhattan Christian College and Kansas State University. During college, Darren preached at the Rosalia Christian Church near Wichita.

Following graduation and his ordination into ministry, Darren interned with Southeast Christian Church in Louisville, Kentucky, the largest independent Christian Church in the country at the time, assisting with the church's $11.5 million campaign for the Youth Activity Center. Later, Darren earned his MBA from the University of Louisville and earned his CFP® designation from the CFP Board.

Darren and his wife, Rachel, have four children. They adopted Alex and Scarlett from Russia and Kyrgyzstan, and were also blessed with biological twins named Amelia and Juliette.

 

Mike Kocolowski

Chief Stewardship Officer

Mike began his duties as CFR's COO in October, 2005, and transitioned to CSO in 2020. He has served in leadership roles in the Christian church for many years, most recently at Journey Christian Church in Orlando. Mike holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of South Florida and a Master of Arts in Theological Studies from Reformed Theological Seminary (RTS). He has completed coursework towards his PhD at Regent University's School of Global Leadership and Entrepreneurship. Mike has helped dozens of churches raise funds through capital campaigns and generosity initiatives, and holds the CFRE (Certified Fundraising Executive) credential from CFRE International. He has a passion for promoting wise stewardship and generosity manifested in a variety of ways.

In high school, Mike met the love of his life, Mary Ann. They are blessed with four children: Michele, Melanie, Melissa, and Matthew, and four grandchildren: Kyler, Camden, Clayton, and Lincoln.

David Lopez

Generosity Strategist

Dave Lopez has over 18 years of domestic and international ministry experience. His call to the ministry began while he was in college attending Trinity International University. After completing his BA, he and his wife Adriana moved to Ft. Worth,TX to complete their graduate work at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Postgrad
school, they served as church planting missionaries in Milan, Italy through the International Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention.

Upon returning to Miami, David served as an associate pastor at a local church for three years. Sensing a change in direction, David stepped into a different form of ministry in  the non-profit world by joining Hope for Miami for almost four years serving as a project manager, grant writer, case manager, and Senior Team member. In 2010, David received an invitation by Christ Fellowship Church to serve as the Downtown Campus Pastor. In his time there, he was also part of the teaching team, Directional Leadership Team, and helped to start new campuses and church plants on behalf of the church. He was also the Executive Director of Christ Fellowship’s non-profit, Caring for Miami. David serves as one of the elders at Cornerstone Miami.

David is currently finishing up his Ed.D. in Intercultural Studies through Western Seminary with an emphasis on Hispanic culture and work. David, his wife of 16 years, Adriana, and their two kids live in Miami.

 

Jon Wright

Executive Pastor Strategist

Jon has worked as an entrepreneur, founding and leading a product development company for 15 years, and served eight years as Executive Pastor at Grace Church in Eden Prairie, MN. He and his wife, Julie, also led a Missionary Training Center in Germany for several years.

As an Executive pastor, Jon was a client of Generis. He found the process so effective and beneficial that he joined the team!
He has 30 years experience in innovation and execution in multiple settings; corporate, non-profit, church and global missions.

Jon brings an entrepreneurial mindset to church culture and strategic planning. He is passionate about healthy teams, ministry effectiveness, next generation leadership development, and resourcing it all through generosity!

Jon is a voracious student of leadership and an outdoor enthusiast. Jon and his wife, Julie, have been married since 1990. They have three daughters (all through adoption), one son-in-law, and three grandsons. They live in the mountains near Bailey, Colorado.

Rob Hopper is a Senior Generosity Strategist who has developed exceptional expertise from consulting in all 50 states, and 10 countries. His diversity of experience includes multicultural congregations, and those whose primary language is Spanish, Korean, Chinese, Japanese, Portuguese, and several others.

He pioneered remarkable results in vibrant, growing churches as well as those in the midst of challenge, who are revitalizing and emerging again. His successful consults have included churches of varying geographical settings. His experience includes churches of all sizes and style.

Rob navigates common and complex ministry challenges by taking timeless biblical principles, relevant best practices, and the unique ministry DNA of the church and creates a personalized and customized approach to generosity engagement that unifies, inspires, and focuses the church on their God-sized vision.

Dan McConnell is an associate generosity strategist with over 10 years of ministry and leadership experience. Prior to joining Generis, Dan served in a variety of roles in the local church, including student ministry, small groups, creative arts, and most recently as executive pastor.

Dan uses his ministry experience along with his gifts of leadership, strategy, and administration to serve churches in their most pivotal seasons. He is passionate about helping every church fulfill the unique vision that God has for them by increasing and developing generosity through a customized approach.

Dan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Practical Theology from Southeastern University. He and his wife, Kayla, reside in Columbus, OH.
