Financially Sustainable Church – 30,136 SF New Worship Center with Childcare Facility
This 30,136 SF building incorporates financially sustainable business models that will both serve the community and generate income for the ministry. Senior Pastor Glenn Meredith said, “We didn’t want to build a facility we would just use for a couple of hours; we wanted to build something that would be a service and a blessing for the community to use all week. We wanted people to look at us and see our church as a place they wanted to come.”
The Brookhaven design features a 16,800 SF day care facility with an outdoor sports court and playground. The master plan also includes a retail pad for a fast-food restaurant to be added in the future on a portion of the church property. The sanctuary space includes 360 seats in phase 1 of construction and space for an additional 120 future seats. A large third place gathering area is situated just outside the sanctuary and features a café, baptistry, welcome center and dual check-in stations for the children’s ministry / daycare wing.
