Senior Pastor of The Genesis Project National Network & Author of The Book "The God of New Beginnings"
Matt is the Founder and Lead Pastor of The Genesis Project, a church based in Ogden, Utah that has grown to a multi-site movement in 6 communities across the nation reaching thousands every week. The Genesis Project worked with Building God's Way to develop a new worship facility with a full-service event center (Hub 801 Events), community coffee shop (Hub City Coffee), multiple ministry and rehabilitation homes, and non-profit community services. Matt will share how these business models have helped the church expand ministry opportunities while becoming an integral part of their community.
Matt's new book, "The God of New Beginnings", tells the story of The Genesis Project, a network of believers whose goal is to plant churches in dark places, targeting people who don’t normally "do" church. Reaching drug addicts, convicts, strippers, and gang members, they’ve seen God do amazing things with seemingly hopeless lives. Through these dramatic stories, Matt offers practical wisdom to pastors for breaking through the darkness in a person’s life.

Lavon Coles - Operations Pastor, Radiant Church
Lavon and the leadership team at Radiant have been working with Building God's Way and Great West Construction on a plan for a $7.5 million north campus expansion to provide high quality ministry areas for all ages as well as a fully functioning office space for north campus staff. In addition to the money received through their "Kingdom Impact" campaign commitments, Radiant will fund the majority of the project by selling the 9 acres of land they own at Woodmen and Black Forest.
Recently, a church strategist shared a statistic with the church that 712,000 people now live in the Colorado Springs metro area, but on an average Sunday less than 60,000 people are in churches. Lavon will share Radiant's vision for the future, their heart for reaching those that have not experienced God's redeeming grace, as well as some lessons they have learned along their journey of faith.
I came away with answers to things we have been struggling with and things we haven't even thought of!
