Hammen Contracting, Inc. was organized with president and founder, Robert M. Hammen's passionate desire to serve Christian ministries in Maryland. Bob wants to continue his career by building high quality, cost- and energy-efficient churches and schools utilizing the national Building God’s Way design and construction solution. Hammen is proud to be the regional BGW Builder for the state of Maryland.

Well known and respected in this area, Bob Hammen brings 43 years of construction experience in the Baltimore-Washington region with responsibility for $33 million of BGW projects in the last four years as a Construction Manager or General Contractor in the BGW program. Hammen Contracting also has several BGW experienced site superintendents who share our commitment and philosophy.
These area projects, including three completed large churches and a unique 82,000 SF Christian school athletic and recreation center, represent Hammen Contracting's commitment to delivering the finest possible product at a below-market costs. Hammen is also working with additional projects in the design, fundraising and permitting phases – a couple of them are expected to begin construction this fall.
