9:30 – 10:30am – The Mission-Based Church: Pastors Matt Roberts and Eric Bahme will share about their experience in church planting, offering practical insight into the challenges and opportunities of community engagement and a sustainable business model.

 

10:30 – 10:45 – Break

 

10:45 – 11:45am – The Generosity Initiative: Glenn Repple, an expert registered broker dealer and investment advisor, will teach ministries how to identify, educate, and cultivate potential planned giving prospects that will expand generosity within their ministry.

 

11:45 – 12:15am – Play Kingdom: We’ll take a quick trip to see it in action at Wasatch Christian Early Learning Center.

1:15 – 2:15pm – Sustainability in Practice: Learn what it takes to successfully engage in sustainable ministry through in-depth case studies of ministries integrating for-profit businesses, such as child care centers, athletic facilities, and Play Kingdom.

 

2:15 – 5:15pm – Intensive Breakout Sessions: Each ministry will meet one-on-one with an expert consultant to brainstorm and create a way forward that is unique to their specific needs and passion.

9:15 – 9:45am – How to Maximize Your Lending Options: Chet Reid, a church finance consultant and pastor responsible for delivering over $1 billion in church financing, will share some innovative and unconventional funding options that could help your ministry realize its vision for growth or facility expansion.

 

9:45 – 10:15am – Responsible Legal Practices: With over 25 years of experience as an attorney for businesses and Christian ministries, David Sims will discuss the legal implications of integrating for-profit models in your church. This will include insight into the structure of for-profit partnerships, protection against liability, and guarding a 501(c)3.
