BGW believes church facilities are a vastly under-utilized ministry tool that can help churches have a significantly greater impact for the Kingdom. Most spaces in the church sit dormant during the week besides an occasional bible study or evening meeting. By stewarding these spaces better, your ministry can experience lower mortgage payments and overhead expenses, while creating an incredible avenue for introducing the Christian faith to the surrounding community.
One of the best ways to utilize these dormant spaces in the church is through child care centers. Through our partnership with Learning Care Group, the second largest for-profit child care provider in the nation, every aspect of the learning center is managed with the exception of the faith-based curriculum, which is spearheaded by ministry staff and volunteers. This provides church staff the opportunity to pray with, read the Bible to, and sing biblical worship songs with the kids attending the childcare center. Many churches also offer parenting and marriage classes to their childcare center families, furthering their influence in the surrounding community.
Learning Care Group utilizes carefully designed programming to ensure a customized, high quality learning experience for each child. Teachers use a single research-based system of developmental milestones to plan learning and track the progress of every child along the School Readiness Pathway. This is aligned with school readiness standards measured by public schools nationwide, better preparing kids for their educational future. These ministry-based child care centers meet all local and state licensing requirements.
Learning Care Group also provides BGW clients with expertise in evaluating the business feasibility of opening a child care center in a particular market, offering a wealth of experience gained from operating more than 900 locations across the country and around the world.
